It looks like your computer is using an operating system or browser that doesn't provide a secure online banking experience for AccountAccess.

To maintain the highest security standards and promote the safety of your data, we occasionally need to make security improvements that may impact older browsers and operating systems. We have disabled access to AccountAccess from browsers that do not support the latest communication protocols. This security vulnerability can allow intruders to hack their way into your customer information and other information as you use your computer to conduct business. Attacks you may have heard of that are the result of this vulnerability are Heartbleed and POODLE.

The following Operating Systems and browsers support the latest encryption protocols, and are the only Operating Systems and browsers that will be able to access AccountAccess:

  • All Windows O/S using Chrome version 40 or newer
  • All Windows O/S using Firefox version 33 or newer
  • Windows 7 & 8 using Internet Explorer version 8 or newer
  • Windows Vista using Chrome or Firefox as a browser (see versions above)
  • All Mac O/S using Safari 7 or newer

What Do You Need to Do?

Find your internet browser in the list below and follow the instructions.

Internet Explorer

Step 1: Check to Make Sure You Have a Compatible Browser

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Help and select About Internet Explorer (See Image Below).
    Tip: If you don't see the File, Edit, View menu, press the Alt key to make the menu visible.
  3. The Internet Explorer About page opens, where you can view the Version number, as shown below. If you are using Internet Explorer version 8 or newer, your browser is compatible with TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer you will need to download a newer version to your computer.

Step 2: Upgrade if needed

If your version of Internet Explorer is an older version, click here to upgrade.

Step 3: Enable TLS

In order to maintain access to AccountAccess, you need to ensure that your browser has TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 enabled. Just follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Press Alt and T on your keyboard and select "Internet Options"
  3. Select the "Advanced" tab.
  4. Scroll down to the "Security" section.
  5. Locate and ensure there is a check next to "Use TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2." (See Image Below)
  6. Then, press "OK" button.
Firefox

Step 1: Check to Make Sure You Have a Compatible Browser

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click Help and select About Firefox.

  3. The Mozilla Firefox About page opens, where you can view the Version number, as shown below. Firefox will even let you know if your version is up to date. If you are using Firefox versions 33 or newer, your browser is compatible with TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. If you are using an older version of Firefox you will need to download a newer version to your computer.

Step 2: Upgrade if you needed

If your version of Firefox is an older version, click here to upgrade.

Step 3: Enable TLS

In order to maintain access to AccountAccess, you need to ensure that your browser has TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 enabled. Just follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. In the URL bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
  3. Scroll down until you see "security.tls.version.max" and press Enter
  4. Double click the number in the Value column, type the number 3, and press Enter (See Image Below)
  5. Then, press "OK" button.
Chrome

Step 1: Check to Make Sure You Have a Compatible Browser

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the Wrench or Menu icon or near the top right corner of the Chrome window (just below the X button that closes the window) and select About Google Chrome. (See Image Below)
  3. The Google Chrome About page opens, where you can view the Version number. Google Chrome will even let you know if your version is up to date. If you are using Chrome versions 40 or newer, your browser is compatible with TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. If you are using an older version of Chrome you will need to download a newer version to your computer.

Step 2: Upgrade if you needed

If your version of Chrome is an older version, click here to upgrade.

Step 3: Enable TLS

In order to maintain access to AccountAccess, you need to ensure that your browser has TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 enabled. Just follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Press Alt and F on your keyboard and select "Settings"
  3. Scroll down and select "Show advanced settings ..."
  4. Scroll down to the Network section and click on "Change proxy settings ..."
  5. Select the "Advanced" tab.
  6. Scroll down to the "Security" section.
  7. Locate and check "Use TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2." (See Image Below)
  8. Then, press "OK" button.
Safari

Step 1: Check to Make Sure You Have a Compatible Browser

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click on Safari in your browser menu, located at the top of your screen, and select About Safari. (See Image Below)
  3. A dialog box will now appear containing the browser's version number. The first number, located outside of the parenthesis, is the actual version of Safari. If you are using Safari 7 or newer, your browser is compatible with TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. If you are using an older version of Safari you will need to download a newer version to your computer.

Step 2: Upgrade if you needed

If your version of Safari is an older version, click here to upgrade.

Step 3: Enable TLS

There are no options for enabling SSL protocols. If you are using Safari version 7 or greater, TLS 1.1 & 1.2 are automatically enabled.
