AgFirst announces 2026 board election results, new board leadership

Columbia, S.C. — AgFirst Farm Credit Bank announces the election of one new member and the reelection of two others to its board of directors. Brian L. Boyd began his term Jan. 1 and will continue to serve until Dec. 31, 2029. Incumbent directors John W. “Whit” Player and David L. Richesin were re-elected to new four-year terms. The board also elected Jenny R. Black chair and Richesin vice chair. 

Boyd, the newly elected director, owns and operates a poultry operation and a small grain and soybean operation in Lebanon, Pa. He is also the owner-operator of Elizabeth Farms, LLC, a tree farm and venue; Boyd Boys Farms, LLC, a custom planting and trucking operation; and Cannon Hill Holdings, LLC, a land holding entity. A member of Horizon Farm Credit’s board, he also serves on the board of the South Lebanon Land Preserve.
