AgFirst earns three awards for its support of United Way of the Midlands

AgFirst Farm Credit Bank received three awards from the United Way of the Midlands during the organization’s recent Live United awards presentation in Columbia.

The Bank was recognized with United Way’s Corporate Gift and Gold awards for the $165,000 in contributions AgFirst and its employees made during its 2022 United Way campaign. The Corporate Gift award is presented to companies with 100-499 employees with the highest per-capita gift amount, while the Gold Award salutes companies with an employee per capita gift of $150 to $399.

AgFirst’s 2022 campaign was also recognized as being “advanced,” which entails completing a United Way campaign before the official launch of a campaign season. This is a testament to our employees’ dedication to making an impact in the community year-round and not just during the campaign season.

“Receiving these awards is a true honor and speaks volumes about our workforce, which believes that our responsibility as corporate citizens extends beyond the walls of our offices,” said AgFirst President and CEO Tim Amerson. “We will continue to support United Way, which does so much to help people in need in our community.”
